The updated Terms will go into effect on 5 July 2023.               We've updated our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy     Hi Diana,   Due to requirements from EU regulators, we're changing the legal basis that we rely on for using certain information to show you ads. Our Terms and Privacy Policy have been updated to reflect this change.   What's changing   • We'll now rely on the legal basis called legitimate interests for using certain information to show you ads. • This means that you have the right to object to our use of that information to show you ads. Learn more about this change and your right to object. • We've added details to our Terms and Privacy Policy about how ads work on Meta Products.   What's staying the same   • You'll still see relevant ads based on your activity, information and settings. • You can manage your ad preferences in settings. • You have options to exercise your rights about how we use your information.   The updated Terms will go into effect on 5 July 2023. By continuing to use our products after 5 July, you accept the updates to the Terms.   Visit the Help Centre to review the updated Terms and Privacy Policy and learn more about ads and what it means to object.
